The Extern is employed by Kettering Health Network in a precepted, cooperative relationship with the Clinical Nurse Preceptor. The nature of this position is to expose the Extern to role of the professional nurse. For the 2020 Summer Externship Program, we will be offering 4 cohorts. Kettering Health Network - 2020 Summer Business Internship
The Kettering Health Network Summer Internship is designed to provide an immersive experience for future young professionals interested in the business side of health-care. This program gives participants a unique hands on experience working alongside established professionals, while receiving mentoring from a network leader.
Kettering Health Network is looking for driven students who are interested in exercising their knowledge while expanding their understanding in a professional environment.
The Kettering Health Network Internship is a paid 10 week project based employment opportunity for college students. As an Intern, you will work on projects in a department relevant to your major to apply your knowledge and skills in order gain practical work experience as it applies to your career goals.
In addition to your daily work, you will have opportunities to network and discuss career goals with executives within Kettering Health Network. Weekly round table discussions and planned social activities will also allow you to connect with other interns and KHN leadership to build your professional network.
